SlashBlue Code of Conduct
Trust is a critical factor in choosing a technology partner. Until trust in a company and its people is established, prospective clients stick with the status quo and put off making decisions that can help their business. Our high ethical and professional standards set SlashBlue apart from others. The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to outline how SlashBlue acts and to explain what our clients can expect from SlashBlue. The principles of integrity, expertise, professionalism, service, and value make clear our commitment to be our clients' trusted technology advisor.
Integrity
- We are honest with you, our client.
- We do what we say we will do.
- We provide you only what you need; we never sell you anything that you don't need, and we never sell you something less than you need just to get your business.
- We don't mark up hardware or software, so there is no conflict of interest between what you need and what we recommend.
- We act as our clients' trusted technology partner; everything we do, we do with the client's best interests in mind. We do not put our sales or profits ahead of doing what is best for our client.
- If we make a mistake, we will be upfront with you in resolving it.
Expertise
- We assign advisors with the experience and skill set to get work done quickly and cost effectively.
- Rather than spend a lot of time trying to fix a problem by ourselves, we contact other SlashBlue advisors or a vendors' technical support if a problem is not being solved.
Professionalism
- We listen to understand your business and technology needs.
- We do what we say we will do.
- We help you set technology priorities based on business needs and benefits. We help clients evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) in technology projects.
- We translate the effects of technology problems into business problems so clients can make the best decisions possible.
- We strive to explain problems in plain English, not geek speak.
Service
- We always inform our clients regarding the next course of action
- We always leave our clients protected or informed about security threats.
- We communicate with our clients so they know what to expect; whether the interaction is about proactive maintenance, a system problem, a project implementation, or a consulting engagement, we talk with our clients to eliminate misunderstandings and surprises.
Value
- We always give you an estimate before work is performed so you know the alternatives and potential costs, timeline and return on your project investment.
- We charge no markup on hardware or software purchased from SlashBlue; we sell it at our cost; buying at SlashBlue wholesale cost saves 5% to 35% on hardware and up to 70% on software.
- When possible, our expert advisors perform multiple tasks when they are at work on-site; this multitasking allows our advisors to get far more work done in an hour than is typically done. Multitasking is one more reason working with SlashBlue reduces information technology costs.
