8 out of 10 small businesses have serious information technology problems, and most business owners don't even know it.
Find out why your business needs SlashBlue Uptime Assurance
Why is Proactive Maintenance Necessary?
Our engineers find that 8 out of 10 companies have serious security, reliability, and productivity problems with their information systems. When systems are not maintained proactively, security vulnerabilities increase, disk and database performance degrade, and the performance of critical systems such as backup and antivirus are not assured. Not performing proactive maintenance on your information systems is like not performing preventive maintenance on your car – you get lower performance and expensive problems at the most inconvenient time. Uptime Assurance gives our clients peace of mind about the security, performance, and reliability of their information systems.
What is Uptime Assurance?
Each month, our expert engineers follow a 52 point checklist to give your systems maximum security, reliability, and performance. This list is customized to your business, and only includes what you need. We perform the proactive maintenance and talk to users about any problems or business changes. Some work is done remotely, and some is done on-site. We assign responsibility for your systems to one of our Advisors, and we typically schedule your service the same day and time each month.
Why use SlashBlue?
Your SlashBlue Advisor knows your systems, and because your Advisor has both expertise and a well-defined process for checking your systems, they perform the service faster and better than is possible internally. Most importantly, we act with professionalism and integrity. We act as your trusted, responsive partner that works in your best interest.
We complete a mission log and give you a monthly report to confirm the maintenance work was actually done. The log and the report give our clients peace of mind about their systems.
What is our Investment?
SlashBlue provides its Uptime Assurance service to eliminate the inevitable problems that occur when information systems are not properly maintained. If your systems have not been maintained proactively, problems are likely. After an initial SlashBlueprint Technology Assessment and project work to fix any major problems that affect security, reliability, or productivity, we provide Uptime Assurance services each month for our clients. The investment in the SlashBlueprint and any resulting projects is small compared to the benefits of improved security, reliability, and productivity.
What is the SlashBlue Uptime Assurance discount?
For committing to the month to month Uptime Assurance Agreement, SlashBlue rewards its Uptime Assurance clients with hourly discounts up to 20% off its regular hourly rate for service. A typical client that needs four hours of Uptime Assurance per month saves nearly $1,000 per year over standard rates. This discount is also good for Project Implementation and Help Desk services, so Uptime Assurance customers not only benefit from higher technology security, reliability and productivity, but also from significantly lower information technology costs. SlashBlue is the trusted technology advisor for its clients.
Who is Uptime Assurance for?
Uptime Assurance is for firms that recognize the need for proactive monthly maintenance and do not have the expertise, the discipline, or the desire to do it themselves. Our clients typically run Microsoft software on their servers and have multiple workstations or laptops.
SlashBlue Uptime Assurance keeps your information systems up and running, proactively addresses potential problems, and most importantly, lets you focus on what is most important to you: your business.
What choices do we have?
Most clients choose to rely on SlashBlue for proactive maintenance on servers, networks, workstations and peripherals because it assures maximum security, reliability and productivity. If your firm has a level of expertise and discipline, you can choose to perform proactive maintenance on part of the system such as workstations. In this case, we provide training and direction to help your people stay current.
For small, simple systems, Uptime Assurance requires only two hours of service per month. Larger, more complex systems can require dozens of hours of proactive maintenance each month. At SlashBlue, our strong values and Code of Conduct mean we only recommend what is best for our clients.
