4) Q: Why is it important to upgrade software?

A: You need to upgrade your software for more than compatibility. Upgraded software keeps you productive and protected from disaster and security threats. Security threats change daily and we are there to protect you. You may not upgrade your QuickBooks each year, but you need to upgrade your Antivirus.

5) Q: What is Hardware as a Service (HaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS)?

A: HaaS is the systematic deployment of updates and replacement of computers after a certain time period. SaaS is the systematic deployment licenses for applications. These services are offered at a fixed price.  By having a fixed monthly cost plan for hardware with slashBlue instead of purchasing hardware outright, you’ll get workstation renewal every 3 years automatically. 7) Q: What happens if I need to reduce staff and lay off a few employees, can the services be removed from the workstations that are no longer being used?

A: Yes. A review of your workstation and company needs will be visited annually. slashBlue will credit the managed service portion of the inactive workstations. For example, if you have 10 employees and must reduce staffing to 5 employees, slashBlue will credit the managed service portion for the 5 machines to your company.

8) Q: What happens to my monthly fee if additional staff and workstations are needed?

A: Simple and easy. Your budget and business scenarios have already been planned. You authorize the addition and slashBlue initiates the budget scenario and makes it happen.

9) Q: Why would I lease the system from you guys when I could just as easily purchase it from you guys at the wholesale price?

A: It is your choice as to whether you use a lease or not.  You can have a more consistent cash flow by using a lease.  You also eliminate the hassle of tracking every asset.  ALL your IT becomes a line item on your Profit and Loss statement and does not encumber your Balance Sheet.

A: There are 2 times when the budget may change.  Every year we will evaluate your needs and the technology services that support your business’ profits.  We plan scenarios that you may encounter during the year that you may choose based upon your changing needs.  For example, you may hire additional staff and need to deploy more workstations.  We will help you and flex with you based on your business growth.
